Permanent hair removal
Hair follicles develop through reciprocal influences of the different skin constituents. Noticeable is the fact that not all hairs grow at the same time and through the same phases: the growth phase, regression phase and the rest phase. The length of a single phase depends on different factors. There are different methods of removing hair, e.g., shaving, plucking, wax or electrolysis. The disadvantages of these methods are that they are time-consuming and sometimes painful procedures.
Hair removal with the new diode laser system (“LightSheer”) has three main advantages: comfort, speed and closeness.
Because the diode laser is equipped with a unique, cooling holder it causes no skin irritation, unlike other methods. It also enables the treatment of larger areas, increases the effectiveness of the hair removal process and allows a quick and gentle treatment.
The diode laser is a precise instrument that can be positioned with the help of proportionate parameters, so influencing the hair follicles without damaging the surrounding skin.
The diode laser emits a red light only. Sometimes there is a light twinge, but the treatment is mostly bearable. Because hairs reach the growth phase at differing time points, it can be possible that more treatments are necessary in order for all the follicles in a certain area to be eliminated. Within a couple of minutes, the affected can swell and turn red. This reaction quickly eases and within a day or two, the treated area will again look natural.
